I wanted less scrolling

Social media feels less and less social. I get more and more content from people I don’t know, and the algorithm is so good at pulling me in that I get stuck scrolling.

I wanted to try building a simple app for sharing updates with people who might want to know, and getting updates from people I want to hear from. Without ads or more content being pushed at me to keep me there.

Screens use made-up people and messages.

I’m making it for myself to try with friends and family. It’s a small experiment with doing this differently.

The feed tells me when I’m caught up. The history is still there if I want it, but there isn’t another recommendation waiting for me.
